With sleigh bells for days and all the hot cocoa you could ever desire, it is so fun to get caught up in the holiday cheer. As Christians, there is a lot more to Christmas time than just decorations and desserts though. This time of year is special because of the birth of Christ, the Savior of the world!
The Advent season has officially begun. Advent is so other-than the holiday culture of excess and pleasure. It calls for spiritual expectation and reminds us of the coming of Christ. By definition it means, the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event. Jesus is the real reason for celebration!
If you would like to receive our 4-week devotional following the Advent series, sign up in the form below.

Come on Sunday, December 18 as we welcome from Uganda the Watoto Children's Choir to our church. Be blessed by their ministry. Join us at 6:30pm in the Auditorium.
Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of hope for Africa’s orphans and widows. To date, the choir has toured six continents and performed to enthralled audiences in schools, retirement homes, churches, parliaments, state houses and royal palaces.
Each child in the Watoto Children’s Choir has suffered the loss of one or both parents and now lives in a Watoto village. The experience of travelling on a choir helps the children to develop confidence and boldness, as well as broadening their worldview.
